The garden apartments are ideally situated for guests both wanting to kite and windsurf, explore Cape Town and its surrounds or work remotely in quiet surroundings.

Your Hosts

Dolphin House is a family run business that started taking in guests in 1992.  The whole family enjoys travelling and meeting people.  We love living in Cape Town.  Our aim is to make guests have a memorable stay and to get to love the Cape as much as we do.

Rodney has windsurfed for over thirty years and still loves to be in the waves. He is able to give good advice on the wind and beaches. He is also a passionate cyclist and rides both mountain and road bikes.  He is very knowledgeable about the cycle routes in and around the area.

Fran will help organise car rental, tours and give advice on the best ‘secret’ spots to visit during your stay.  She also spends a lot of time cycling and hiking.  If you want to do some walking whilst you are here, she will be able to help you plan your route, advise you on weather conditions and lend you maps of the mountain.

We do our best to preserve the environment.  We have solar heating in some of the apartments and have recently installed a solar PV system. We recycle, have our own compost bins and worm farm. We use groundwater to irrigate the garden and fill the sparkling swimming pool.  We grow some of our own herbs and vegetables.
